Please welcome the newest addition to our Elle & Elle online boutique, Macaroon. 

Macaroon is a South African brand that is all about being fresh, quirky and current. The story behind the name is part of the fun: Foodies in-the-know have dubbed the dainty little creations, the "cakes du jour" or "the new cupcake". This fabulous brand is considered in the same light: new and fresh, capturing the essence of beauty and indulgence. It is a return to old-fashioned values, with a modern twist.

Like macaroons, the designs and product suite are a visual feast. The bright alluring colours of macaroons such as chocolate, pistachio, raspberry pink and turquoise blues, inspired many of the colour choices and designs. The colour palette lifts the spirit and makes one smile.

Elle & Elle fell in love with Macaroon's stationary but in keeping with our current range of summer accessories, we decided to bring in their range of soft, insulated cooler bags. The coolers are not only a treat to receive as a gift but practical too. They fold flat and are made from recycled plastic bottles!
