Four years ago, Bobums founders put their thinking caps on and came up with the perfect product for an active lifestyle. They were tired of lugging heavy towels to the beach and unpacking smelly, wet towels from their children's school bags. They knew that all moms would welcome a solution to this problem, and searched far and wide for the perfect fabric. The towelling fabric had to be: 

• Quick drying
• Super absorbent
• Compact
• Anti bacterial
• Sand free

And so the ultimate quick drying, microfibre beach towel was invented.

From starting in a small back room to employing over 10 staff members at present, their journey has been an exciting one. Their products are sustainable and proudly South African. They also pride themselves in empowering their staff and developing them within the business. The staff is trained in sewing, cutting, packing, quality assurance and the ins and outs of an e-commerce business.

The most exciting recent development is that all their products are now made out of repurposed plastics  - 100 % recycled. They have joined the worldwide trend fighting against unnecessary plastic usage and doing their bit for the world around us!! 

These towels come in various beautiful prints - they're the perfect summer accessory! 

Not only is Bobums owned by women and proudly South African, they are also environmentally responsible. This fits perfectly with what Elle & Elle stand for and love!
